My Limnos

Limnos is the place where I feel at home.

Limnos is an island in the northern Aegean Sea. For me, it’s the place where I feel at home. I’ve been spending each summer there for more than 25 years. Let me show you the beauty of a place that “lacks beauty” in the usual sense.

Azure and gold are the colors of Limnos in the summer. The wheat fields lie dry, green nowhere in sight, and the sun does the rest, painting the land in golden hues. The sea, clear and azure, holds a quiet, stunning contrast. Simple, minimal, and beautiful
