Projects I’ve gotten involved in

Episodes

Hats hanging on clothesline against dramatic cloudy sky in black and white artistic photography.

These are the projects I’ve really gotten involved in, where following an idea led me to the images you see here.

Each project began with curiosity and unfolded naturally. They capture the moods, moments, and concepts that pulled me in, and I hope you can feel the journey behind them as you explore the photos.

Metaphors

This series explores the translation of ideas into images. Each photograph was created to accompany a text, not to illustrate it literally, but to give visual form to its underlying meanings. The intent is to make abstract concepts perceivable, guiding the viewer toward interpretation without providing easy answers.

What connections emerge when thought becomes image? How do these photographs suggest meaning beyond words? Which moments invite reflection and open new ways of seeing the ideas behind the text?

A panoramic black and white photograph shows a large tree with sprawling branches casting shadows on an open field.
Black and white photograph of sliced watermelon pieces arranged artistically on wooden stumps in a field.
A silhouetted figure stands atop a tall wooden structure against a dramatic sky in black and white.

SHEEP, SIMPLY THEMSELVES

Sheep are rich in symbolic meaning across cultures, religions, and traditions, in both positive and negative ways. They stand for innocence and purity, vulnerability, renewal and rebirth, but also for blind conformity, weakness, naivety, and lack of autonomy. This rich symbolism gave them a role in the project I am working on.

Black and white close-up photograph of sheep faces behind metal bars showing their distinct wooly features.
Black and white industrial photograph showing machinery and equipment in a dark factory setting.
A herd of sheep grazes together on a dry field with mountains visible in the distant background.
